À titre de partenaire d’affaire de confiance, ce dernier aura pour principales responsabilités de concevoir et de mettre en place les meilleures pratiques en matière de gestion des ressources humaines et de coordonner l’ensemble des activités reliées aux ressources humaines. Il devra assurer un rôle d‘expert-conseil et agir en tant que personne-ressource pour l’ensemble des employés.

En plus de ses tâches administratives quotidiennes, le gestionnaire des ressources humaines aura également l’occasion de collaborer à la rédaction et à la mise en place de nouveaux programmes et procédures pour nos divisions du Canada et des États-Unis.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Gérer les processus de recrutement, d’entrevue et d’embauche afin d’attirer des personnes talentueuses et de doter l’entreprise d’une équipe gagnante et diversifiée.
  • Assurer la gestion du processus d’intégration et administrer les régimes de rémunération et d’avantages sociaux.
  • Assurer la gestion et le traitement de la paie mensuelle conformément aux lois et règlements des instances gouvernementales ainsi qu’aux politiques de l’entreprise.
  • Offrir des formations ainsi que servies d’encadrement pour garantir un environnement de travail professionnel sain, exempt de discrimination et de harcèlement.
  • Assurer un rôle d‘expert-conseil quant aux lois fédérales et provinciales qui régissent l’emploi et le recrutement des employés.
  • Mettre en place et administrer des programmes et procédures de relations avec les employés, de gestion des invalidités, de formation et de perfectionnement, du respect des langues officielles, etc.
  • Rédiger et tenir à jour un guide des employés.
  • Offrir des conseils et des indications sur un large éventail de fonctions des ressources humaines, notamment la gestion du rendement.
  • Gérer et mener les vérifications diligentes et processus d’intégration.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Au moins huit ans d’expériences en ressources humaines donc trois en tant que gestionnaire.
  • Avoir un diplôme d’études postsecondaires ou un diplôme avec spécialisation en gestion d’entreprise, administration des affaires ou gestion des ressources humaines.
  • Personne bilingue; maitrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
  • Excellent entregent, et excellentes aptitudes de communication et de présentation.

Human Resources Manager

Power Factors is looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our rapidly growing company in our office in Montreal, Canada.

The HR Manager must be able to build strong relationships as a trusted business partner using insight to advise others on the best practices.  This role requires the ability to maintain confidentiality, manage sensitive information and serve as a strategic HR Business Partner for executives and business unit leaders.  This individual will play a key role on our Canadian team and will be required to manage key HR functions, including the following: recruiting, benefits management, payroll & HRIS, employee relations, training, leadership development, performance management, diversity, HR policy creation and implementation, employee onboarding, retention, and employment law compliance.  In addition, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the opportunity to collaborate in the development and implementation of new HR programs and processes both locally and globally.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Recruit and manage the talent acquisition process to attract a talented/diverse workforce to support the growth of the business.
  • Conduct employee onboarding and administer compensation and benefit plans.
  • Manage compensation and process monthly payroll adhering to both required legal pay practices and company policies.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on provincial employment laws. Provide training/coaching as needed to ensure a professional harassment free work environment.
  • Manage and administer various HR programs/processes, including: develop and implement HR policies; prepare and maintain the employee handbook, recordkeeping, employee engagement and retention, leaves of absence, workforce planning, and employee separations.

  • Manage and conduct HR acquisition due diligence/onboarding processes if required.

COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Eight plus years of progressive human resources experience including three years’ management experience.
  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma with a specialization in Business Management, Business Administration or Human Resources Management
  • Bilingual – Must be able to speak fluently and write both in French and English
  • Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

Le mandat principal de l’administrateur de système PI est de veiller à ce que l’infrastructure des systèmes PI opère de façon efficace, sécuritaire et rentable. À l’heure actuelle, Power Factors héberge plusieurs archives de données PI ainsi que des serveurs AF sur Microsoft Azure. Les données sont collectées à partir de multiples sites appartenant à divers clients qui font usage d’interfaces PI et API maison.

En plus de ses tâches administratives quotidiennes, le détenteur du poste devra également aider et accompagner les équipes d’intégrateurs et de support client dans l’accomplissement de différentes tâches ; résolution des erreurs PI ou AF, la configuration d’interfaces sur les sites clients, l’amélioration des processus d’affaires, etc.

RESPONSABILITÉS

  • Tâches quotidiennes ; valider les sauvegardes de nuit, assurer la disponibilité des ressources du système, surveillance de la plateforme, etc.
  • Assurer la sécurité et les sauvegardes pour les serveurs AF ainsi que les archives de données PI pour les environnements de développement, de test et de production.
  • Administrer et maintenir les interfaces Coresight et ProcessBook.
  • Collaborer avec les intégrateurs et l’équipe de soutien client dans la réalisation des tâches qui leur sont assignées (aide avec PI Builder, PI DataLink, PI System Explorer, etc.)
  • Collaborer avec les intégrateurs à la mise en place d’interfaces pour les nouveaux clients.
  • Optimiser les outils de surveillance internes afin d’assurer la fiabilité et la disponibilité du système PI.
  • Documenter le système PI à l’aide de schémas Visio.
  • Tenir à jour les journaux d’audits pour les serveurs PI et AF.
  • Configurer les nouveaux serveurs PI / AF; être en mesure de restaurer les sauvegardes du système PI.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Au moins 3 années d’expérience en configuration, soutien et surveillance de système PI.
  • Vaste expérience en installation, configuration et dépannage de sous-système PI Buffer.
  • Expérience en installation, configuration et soutien d’interfaces PI ; OPC DA, ModBusE, DNP3, RDBMS, LoggerNet, Ovation, PItoPI et UFL.
  • Compréhension générale des réseaux de communication TCP / IP.

PI System Administrator

The main goal of the PI System Administrator is to ensure the PI System infrastructure is running efficiently, securely, and in the most cost-effective way possible.  Currently, Power Factors is hosting multiple PI Data Archives and AF Servers on Microsoft Azure VMs.  The data is fed from a multitude of different customers sites using a variety of different PI interfaces and custom API applications.

In addition to normal administrative tasks, this role also entails assisting the implementation team and customer support teams.  These requests may entail things like: help with any errors encountered in PI or AF, assistance configuring a new on-site interface, general guidance on best practices, etc.

This position will be in our offices in Montreal (Brossard), Canada.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Day-to-day support (validating nightly backups, ensuring adequate system resources, platform monitoring, etc.)
  • Manage security and backups for PI Data Archive servers in Dev, Staging, and Production
  • Manage security and backups for AF Servers in Dev, Staging and Production
  • Manage and maintain Coresight and ProcessBook displays
  • Assist Implementation Engineers and Customer Success team with any issues arising with their day-to-day jobs (i.e. help with PI Builder, PI DataLink, PI System Explorer, etc.)
  • Help implement new customer site interfaces with Implementation Engineering team
  • Expand internal monitoring tools for the PI System to ensure uptime and reliability
  • Documentation of the PI System including Visio drawings
  • Maintain audit logs for PI and AF Servers
  • Setup new PI/AF Servers when required including the ability to restore a PI System from backups if needed (for instance, in the Dev environment).

COMPETENCIES AND REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years’ experience with PI system support, configuration, and monitoring
  • Extensive experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PI Buffer Subsystem
  • Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PI interfaces including OPC DA, ModBusE, DNP3, RDBMS, LoggerNet, Ovation, PItoPI, and UFL
  • General understanding TCP/IP network communications to assist when onboarding new sites

The role of DevOps engineer in Power Factors is a hybrid role comprising of Development Operations and some Network and System Admin work.  The main goal of the DevOps group is to deploy software and infrastructure more securely and efficiently while reducing the number of errors, with the end result being a better product and experience for the customer.

This goal is accomplished by working to automate software and infrastructure deployment through scripting and robust testing.  Further, the DevOps group is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and backing up all critical production, staging, and development assets within the company.  Along with maintaining servers and infrastructure, the DevOps group will maintain security of the assets as well as the internal and external users who access them.  From a network perspective, the DevOps group is responsible for ensuring security and functioning of the internal network.  Lastly, the DevOps group is responsible for documenting their work, including change and release management, scripts used for automation tasks, license documentation and renewals, and architecture drawings.

From a technical standpoint, the DevOps group is highly tied to the Microsoft Azure technology stack, including Azure VMs, VNets, AD, SQL, App Services, Storage Accounts, and VPNs.   Furthermore, the DevOps team uses Microsoft tools like PowerShell, Visual Studio, and Group Policy to deploy, maintain, and support them.

Additionally, the DevOps group is currently responsible for the PI System Administration including ensuring the PI Servers, AF servers, and PI Interface nodes are operational and efficiently working.  Currently outside the scope of the DevOps group is Salesforce administration.

This position will be in our offices in Montreal (Brossard), Canada.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY

  • Administration for Microsoft Windows, Azure, SQL and OSIsoft PI System
  • Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing Azure production and testing systems
  • Installation of releases onto production and staging environments
  • Release, change and configuration management of production systems
  • System monitoring for all Azure and PI components to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of all production and testing systems
  • Backup and disaster recovery of all assets and applications
